are handled on a per case basis and must be approved by the senior staff. |
| A
two (2) month notice must be given to adjust our calendars to reflect your
event.

Option #2 - CLOSED Snack Bar
|
| You may choose to rent the facility

$300.00 per hour plus
$4.00 per
person. |
| You will have a closed snack bar |
| and
you will allowed to bring your own food, ice, beverages, etc. |
| All
usual staff will be provided
by the
facility. |
| A
party server (host or hostess) can be provided for an additional charge.
|
| A skating instructor may be available for
private party lessons upon request. |

inquire with the facility manager.
|
|
Private rental
during a
|
|
Regularly
Scheduled Session
|
|
To rent one of our facilities during a regular scheduled session
|
|
you must contact our Corporate Office a minimum of
|
|
two (2) months prior to your tentative scheduled event date.
|
|
You can reach the Corporate Office at (305) 378-6700 between the hours
of
|
|
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday).
|
|
A private event of this nature must be approved by
our senior management staff.
|
|
Once approved a contract will be drawn up with specific terms and
conditions.
|
|
Galaxy Skateway and its management staff retains complete and
total control
|
|
over capacity, security, and artistic presentations to include
|
|
the extent of and use of permissive language and lyrics.
|
|
Facility manager/owner or its designated party will retain the FINAL
WORD
|
|
on any issues regarding your private event and our facilities.
|
|
Once the contract is drawn up and all terms and conditions have been
|
|
agreed upon, the contract must be signed by both parties and a
|
|
deposit of half (½) of the contracted amount
|
|
must received one (1) month prior to the scheduled event.
|
|
The balance of the contracted amount is due
|
|
two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.
|
|
Our calendars are prepared one (1) month in advance
|
|
and posted on our website and in our buildings.
|
|
If we have not received a definite date, a signed contract and the
deposit
|
|
for your event it will not be put on the calendar and it will not take
place.
|
|
We will not close an existing session under any circumstances
|
|
unless our regular customers have been given ample notice.
|
|
No alcoholic beverages may be served under any
circumstances unless
|
|
you are able to provide us a copy of your
liquor license and name.
|
|
Galaxy Skateway as an additional insured.
|
|
Other event rules and regulations do apply but your written contract will
|
|
reflect those rules and regulations very clearly.
|
|
All contracts for private events, hall rentals, concerts, etc.,
|
|
are written up on a case by case basis and price accordingly.
|
|

Each party must have a eight (8) paid person minimum.
|
|
All additional guests over the eight (8) paid minimum will be
|
|
billed according to the chosen party package amount.
|
|
Advance reservation are required.
|
|
To confirm your party, a non-refundable deposit of $20.00 must be paid.
|
|
You may either stop by the facility
|
|
between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM
|
|
(please call first prior to coming)
|
|
and until 11:00 PM Fri/Sat
|
|
or you may make a credit card deposit via fax weekdays between
|
|
10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
|
|
After paying your deposit, you must pick up you pre-printed invitations.
|
|
Deposits must be made no later than five (5) days prior to your party.
|
|
Please fax, call or drop off your tentative list of ALL guests
invited
|
|
to the party no later than the Thursday prior to the party.
|
|
Please remember that children three (3) years and over
|
|
are to be included as your guest.
|
|
No outside food or drinks will be permitted
|
|
(expect a traditional birthday cake).
|
|
Seating areas can not be requested.
|
|
Guests should check-in during the first 15 minutes
|
|
of the session at the party entrance.
|
|
Adults attending a public session party with their children may enter at no
charge.
|
|
If adults would like to skate, options are:
|
|
(A) you may pay the BirthdaySKATE rate per person and they may sit, eat and
|
|
drink with their children or
|
|
(B) the adults may pay tier own admission and skate rental for the session.
|
|
This will not include food. Party parent may purchase additional
|
|
fod and drinks for attending adults. All adults will be required to
wear a wristbands.
|
|
All payments can be made by either cash, credit card or check
|
|
with a valid Florida drivers license.
|
|
The balance is due before the end of the party session.
|
|
Early payments avoid the lines at the end of the party session.
|
|
There is no video taping of or photography allowed on or near the skating
floor.
|
|
We offer coin operated lockers for the safety and security of your
belongings.
|
|
Galaxy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
|
|
