| Danny Abadia, "D-ROCS", although he got his
first set of turn tables and mixer |
| back in 1988, at the time it was a hobby. D-rocs
never took the art of DJ'ing |
| serious because he knew it meant
compromising his new found relationship
|
| with Jesus the Christ. His love and passion for
wanting to take music to another |
| level never died, it was given up as a sacrifice.
Then in 2001, now married, |
| father of one and another boy on the way, an
idea from heaven came down to |
| start a Christian mobile DJ service. That was when
EDIFYING BEATS CHRISTIAN |
| DJ SERVICE
was born. D-rocs was amazed at how much variety and |
| availability their now was in Christian music. Now
that D-rocs is a mobile DJ |
| dedicated to serve the
Christian community, his musical tastes have changed |
| drastically. He is now open to Country, Rock, Alternative, R&B,
Gospel, Dance |
| hall, Reggaton, Bachata, Cumbia, Salsa, and Merengue,
where as before it was |
| only Hip-Hop, Freestyle and Club. Just like any other mobile DJ service, |
| EDIFYING BEATS specializes in weddings, social events,
WMCU 89.7 Spirit FM |
| remotes, and has music for all occasions. The only
difference is that you will |
| never hear explicit lyrics or content coming from the
music being played by |
| EDIFYING BEATS. This simple fact has allowed D-rocs
to now enjoy his passion |
| for music without a compromising feeling. D-rocs
had this to say; "If anything, |
| now I'm strengthening my daily walk with my Savior by now
doing His will in |
| spreading the gospel every time I play a
song." D-roc's true desire for the |
| Christian skate night is not only to entertain the
Christian community but much |
| more important to him, to use this night as
a witnessing tool, so that every |
| Christian who attends will want to bring back every
single friend and family |
| member that does not yet benefit from a personal
relationship with Jesus |
| Christ. You can catch
"D-ROCS" every Thursday at the N. Lauderdale facility
|
| starting March 4, 2004, which will be
the re-grand opening of an all-Christian
|
| skate night.
